The Strategic and Governance Services Centre (SGSC) sits within the Vice-Chancellor’s portfolio and plays a vital role in supporting ECU’s Council, senior executives, schools, and professional service centres. SGSC is seeking a dynamic Administration Officer to support our high-performing team.
Our Centre is made up of five key functional areas, supported by a dedicated Centre Operations team:
Academic Quality and Standards
Legal and Integrity
Enterprise Risk
Strategy and Performance
University Governance
About the Opportunity
As our new Administration Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day administrative support across the Centre. You’ll help keep things running smoothly by:
Providing accurate information and friendly guidance to staff and visitors
Managing a variety of administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency
Using sound judgement to resolve enquiries or escalate them as appropriate
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail, customer service skills, and initiative will be highly valued.
About you
You are an organised and proactive administrator with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You are confident managing a range of tasks, provide excellent customer service, and bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to your work.
