Reporting to the Program Coordinator, Hill and Levene Schools of Business, the Administrative Support carries out various administrative functions in the main office of the Faculty of Business administration, focusing on processing information for student admissions, updating and maintaining student records, and assisting the academic advisors with administrative tasks related to student services.

What You’ll Do:
  • Academic Records Coordination: Manage the administrative aspects of new students, verify application requirements, admit type, program and major declarations, and maintain student records.
  • Administrative Processes: Coordinate transfer credits, handle transfer credit requests and inquiries, facilitate course equivalency reviews, field student questions and maintain accurate transfer credit records.
  • Academic Support: Coordinate distribution of of multiple letters including welcome letters, program outlines, registration information, Deans Honours List awards, academic action notices, collect data for scholarships, assist with prerequisite overrides, inbound study abroad course registrations, placing account holds, and serve as backup for various tasks of other administrative positions in the Programs Team when required.

Position Requirements
Position Requirements:
  • Grade 12 with the successful completion of recognized business course(s)
  • Minimum of three years’ related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered;


Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook-GroupWise), Adobe Creative Suite, web support and other complex databases with a preference for: Banner Student Module, Degree Audit and CASPUR;
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge, skill and experience in the application of academic policies, processes, and procedures within the University of Regina specifically in admission requirements;
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to deal effectively in a courteous, cooperative and confidential manner with students, staff and the public;
  • Ability to exercise analytical skills, critical assessment and problem-solving techniques required in primary duties relating to students, faculty, staff and the public;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials; and,
  • Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment.
Physical Demands Pay Grade CUPE Phase 4 Salary Range $43,388.80 - $58,604.00 Annually Status Permanent Work Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on campus.
