Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing daily office operations, supporting team and HR management, and ensuring efficient administrative workflows. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience in office administration to contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization.
Duties
- Handle up to 60 incoming calls using multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Support human resources functions, including onboarding, employee record management and answering employee inquiries.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records
- Prepare reports, budgets, and financial documentation as needed
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the office environment is organized and efficient
- Facilitate communication across departments and coordinate team management activities to support project workflows and organizational goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration or related roles with strong clerical and organizational skills
- Proficiency with phone systems and general office software (e.g., MS Office Suite/Google Workspace)
- Experience with human resources tasks is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Prior office experience in a professional setting is required
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Office: 1 year (preferred)
