Advisor, International Engagement

The purpose of the Advisor, International Engagement is to:
- Support projects and programmes within the International Engagement Team, working with others to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Provide advisory and logistical support to the International Engagement Team to enhance engagement with stakeholders and team productivity.
- Provide advisory support towards engagement, briefings, and deployments for inter-agency, external collaboration and work programmes.
- Develop, review and collate briefing materials.
Essential Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates they are a team player through experience of working closely with senior leadership teams and other business units.
- Relationship management experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and manage variable needs that supports the Team's deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience providing efficient and effective administration support including briefings, minutes, case studies, and reports.
- Demonstrated cultural competency.
- International experience.

Due to the nature of our role in Emergency Management, NEMA has a very dynamic work environment and as a small agency, staff are often required to pivot and change focus on their work at short notice. The indicative salary range for this position is $80,516 - $84,989 including Kiwisaver employer contributions.
