Advisor (Lvl 2)

We are looking for an Advisor to join the System Performance and Monitoring team

Joining our team will see you working in a collaborative team environment, undertaking interesting and varied work that will advance your skills and career, while working to strengthen people's trust in the law, including New Zealand's democratic rights and institutions.

As an Advisor you will contribute to a variety of different projects and deliverables, from preparing potential responses for the executive leadership to Select Committee questions, performance reporting, through to supporting the Ministry's Crown entity monitoring responsibilities.

This is a great opportunity to learn about, and contribute at an enterprise level to, the Ministry of Justice.

Ideally, the skills and experience we are looking for include:

• Curiosity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work to deadlines
• A demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
• Comfort in working in a fast-paced environment and complex environment
• An understanding of the machinery of government would be advantageous.

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
