Remuneration: $106,025 – $117,363 plus Superannuation and Leave Loading

Your impact as an Advisor – Transparency & Integrity
Join NSW Treasury’s award-winning Office of General Counsel (OGC), supporting governance, transparency and integrity across the organisation. As an Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering operational and strategic support across information access, privacy, complaints, public interest disclosures, and administrative law.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Managing requests under GIPA and Standing Order 52
- Supporting investigations and responses to ICAC, NSW Ombudsman and other regulatory bodies
- Advising on privacy, complaints, and governance matters
- Collaborating across Treasury to promote ethical conduct and compliance
- Contributing to system and process improvements that enhance transparency and accountability
You’ll be part of a high-performing team recognised nationally for excellence, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your advice helps shape public sector integrity.
What we’re looking for
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and stakeholder engagement experience
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy
- Experience in governance, compliance, or legal advisory roles
- Exposure to at least two of the following: GIPA, SO52, PID, privacy, administrative law, investigations or complaints handling
Legal, risk or compliance qualifications are desirable, and experience in public sector governance will be highly regarded.
