Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh provides after-school care to over 700 youth in the Oshkosh area. We are seeking a Program Assistant to join the team at our Downtown Oshkosh location!

Responsibilities of the Program Assistant include:

· Assisting with transportation of youth from schools to Boys & Girls Club.

· Assisting with snack and dinner service and clean up.

· Assisting with Shower Club.

· Maintaining a structured environment.

· Working closely with Club leadership to ensure safe and smooth operation of the program, including fulfillment of program curriculum.

· Communicating effectively with children and their families.

Working hours are 2:30 – 6:30 pm, Monday – Friday. The pay range for this role is $14.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Additional information/requirements:

· This role is a mandated child abuse reporter.

· Previous experience working with early childhood/elementary age children preferred.

· Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or become certified within 30 days of hire.

· Must be able to interact physically with children during program activities.

· Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
