About the Opportunity

Universities are operating in an environment that is rapidly changing. The emergence of generative AI, the evolving realities of student life, and a federal drive to increase equity group access to higher education, provides an opportunity for ECU to lead the sector with bold, credible, transformative courses.

The Curriculum Transformation Project is a key strategic initiative that sets an ambitious vision to reshape how we design courses, assure learning outcomes, and facilitate learning in the context of a changing world, changing students, and changing demands on universities. This multi-year, whole-of-institution program responds to the rapid advancements in technology, particularly the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the changing needs of students and the higher education sector.

We are currently seeking an Agile Delivery Lead (Scrum Master) to join Digital Services and contribute to the successful delivery of the Program.

This role facilitates Agile practices, removes impediments, and fosters a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

The Agile Delivery Lead will ensure alignment between delivery teams and business objectives while promoting adaptive planning and facilitates customer-centric, incremental delivery.

About you
Experience

Proven experience as a Scum Master or Agile Delivery Lead
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DSDM, Lean, etc.).
Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, DevOps, etc.)
Background in digital delivery or product development (preferred).

The successful applicant will be required to provide a national police clearance.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
Certified in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or equivalent Agile frameworks.
