Key Responsibilities 1. Government & Statutory Liaison
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with central, state, and local government authorities , civic bodies, regulators, and development authorities.
  • Facilitate and track approvals, licenses, NOCs, permissions, and renewals across the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively engage with authorities to address regulatory bottlenecks, policy interpretations, and compliance issues impacting projects.
2. Corporate & External Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders , including government officials, industry associations, business chambers, and quasi‑government agencies.
  • Represent TATA Realty in external meetings, forums, and negotiations , ensuring alignment with organizational interests and reputation.
  • Manage sensitive engagements with discretion, diplomacy, and ethical rigor.
3. Strategic Advisory & Issue Resolution
  • Provide strategic inputs to leadership on regulatory changes, policy developments, and external risks/opportunities.
  • Support business units and project teams in resolving critical issues related to land, clearances, local administration, and community interactions.
  • Anticipate and manage external risks, escalations, and reputational concerns .
4. Policy Monitoring & Advocacy
  • Track evolving government policies, urban development regulations, environmental norms, and real estate legislation .
  • Assess business impact and share timely advisories with senior leadership.
  • Support advocacy efforts through industry bodies (CREDAI, CII, FICCI, etc.) where appropriate.
5. Internal Coordination & Governance
  • Work closely with Legal, Projects, Planning, Engineering, ESG, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure aligned external messaging and compliance.
  • Ensure all interactions and engagements adhere to Tata Code of Conduct, governance standards, and ethical practices .
  • Maintain robust documentation and reporting of external engagements.
6. Leadership & Capability Building
  • Mentor junior team members and support development of structured corporate relations frameworks and SOPs .
  • Drive best practices in stakeholder engagement and regulatory liaison across projects.
