Job Description: Agriturismo Manager/ Receptionist/ Back Office

Position: Agriturismo Manager Location: Podere Spedalone, Tuscany, Italy

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Agriturismo Manager/ Receptionist/ Back Office to oversee the operations of our beautiful, highly rated by our guests Agriturismo, Podere Spedalone, located in the picturesque region of Tuscany. The Agriturismo Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily operations, maintaining high standards of service, and maximizing the overall success of the property.

Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:Welcome and interact with guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing prompt and personalized resolutions.
Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay.

Operations Management:Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the agriturismo's operations, including accommodations, dining, activities, and facilities.
Ensure seamless coordination between various departments to deliver a superior guest experience.
Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of the property.

Staff Management: Manage a skilled and motivated team of staff members.
Provide guidance and leadership to the team, fostering a positive work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and offer training and development opportunities.

Financial Management:Develop and manage the agriturismo's budget, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability, implementing strategies to optimize financial performance.
Collaborate with the finance department to analyze financial reports and implement cost-control measures.

Marketing and Promotion:Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the agriturismo's visibility and attract new guests.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging promotional materials and digital content.
Establish partnerships with local tourism organizations, wineries, and other businesses to expand the agriturismo's reach.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Agriturismo Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional guest service orientation and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost management.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including property management software and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and best practices in the agriturismo industry.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
