Job Description

Intel's Network and Edge Group (NEX) are seeking Artificial Intelligence (AI) system software interns to join our team and contribute to the development of domain specific AI system/software.

As an intern, you will play crucial role in development, enhancement and exploring capabilities of distributed machine learning, LLMs and AI pipelines to solve complex problems in Telecommunications and Enterprise Networking domains. Your will have impact on the development of state-of-the-art AI to achieve objectives of implementing practical solutions to real-world challenges. Areas of work focus include Fine-tuning, alignment, tailoring LLMs for domain specific requirements / deployments, optimizing computational efficiency of LLMs and AI application pipelines for cost-effective deployments, and Implementation, debugging and optimizations of AI pipelines.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be actively pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in the field preferably of AI, Computer Science or related discipline.
Familiarity with ML/AI programming environment and tools such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, skit-learn, AI frameworks (e.g., langchain
Mathematics, preferably linear algebra, matrix-vector operations
Linux programming skills, Python, bash
Performance debugging/analysis skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $63,000.00-$166,000.00
