Job Description
Getting things right and doing the right thing lie at the core of our Risk team as they make sure we’re always consistent and comply with current financial regulations.
While the role is focusing on Private Equity and Real Estate within the AIFM department, you will need to be a master organizer, enjoy variety and a methodical planner as you control the the collection & aggregation of the risk and portfolio data.
You’ll need to be thorough in all you do, using your own judgment to highlight any significant finds such and escalate if limits or investment restrictions are breached. Attention to detail is a must have as you'll be responsible for producing and maintaining the risk management reports and carry out exposures and limit calculations.
You will be involved in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the policies and procedures pertaining to the risk management function, covering all types of risks the managed funds are exposed to.
You will need to ensure prompt reporting to any relevant parties of actual or potential breaches of risk limits identified, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken. Furthermore, you will need to ensure, on a timely basis, the proper key metrics calculations, and regulatory reporting (such as Annex IV) and regularly assess the adequacy for those risk indicators.
Part of your tasks will involve, supporting and advising clients and delegated investment managers on matters related to risk management and regulations applicable to Luxembourg investment funds.
Every day brings a new challenge so you’ll need to be a team player at heart, with an eye for detail, great organisational skills so you can priotise your day and meet the deadlines. Building relationships across the business is a must have to succeed and be effective in this role.

Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor in Finance or an equivalent degree
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Good communication skills
- Writing and analytical skills
- 0-2 years professional experience in a Risk Management related function
- Profound knowledge in Annex IV Reporting will be considered as a plus
- Profound knowledge in CSSF Circular 18/698 will be considered as a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office and other IT languages (VBA, SQL, Python…) are considered an asset
- Fluent in English; additional language would be considered an asset
