Follow detailed drawings or specifications to fabricate parts and assemblies. Much of the work will involve cutting, bending, rolling and shaping aluminum and stainless steel using various hand and machine tools. The work also involves assembling parts and structures by lining up and joining them by bolting or riveting.There may also be an element of finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acid solutions.
With regards to composites, the work would involve layup of composite parts, and mold preparation/repair/fabrication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
- Aircraft Composites & Sheet Metal Technician: 5 years (preferred)
