Job Description
The Aircraft Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of aircraft interiors and exteriors. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Aircraft Cleaner plays a crucial part in maintaining the comfort and safety of passengers and crew.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including seats, carpets, overhead bins, tray tables, and windows, to ensure a clean and inviting environment for passengers.
- Use approved cleaning agents to sanitize high-touch surfaces such as armrests, lavatories, and door handles, in compliance with industry standards and guideline
Remove trash and debris from seat pockets, floors, and overhead bins.
- Vacuum carpets and wipe down surfaces, including windows, tray tables, and armrests.
- Replenish supplies such as magazines, safety cards, and in-flight items.
- Ensure that lavatories are fully stocked with soap, tissues, and other necessary items.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any damage, irregularities, or maintenance issues discovered during cleaning.
- Perform deep cleaning and special cleaning tasks as scheduled or required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred, especially in an aviation environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies, and to stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and noise from aircraft engines.
- The position may require working at heights and in confined spaces.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
