Job Title: Food Runner
Location: Riverside Park Hotel
Reports to: Restaurant Manager
Job Type: Part-Time – Evenings Midweek & Weekends
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Food Runner to join our team at Riverside Park Hotel. This role is ideal for some seeking evening work both midweek & weekend in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers quickly and accurately, ensuring an excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders to guests efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Assist servers in ensuring tables are properly set and cleared.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service area.
- Ensure all food items meet presentation standards before delivery.
- Assist kitchen and bar staff as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Support the team during busy service periods.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not essential.
- Must be available to work weekends.
