About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available at Te Matua a Maui – Hawkes Bay. We are looking for an experienced Allied Health Professional to lead the Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) Programme for Allied Health Inpatient Services.


About the Team/Service/ Location

The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate the clinical workload methodology tool to capture and measure Allied Health workload in the inpatient area. This position will report to the Director of Allied Health – Specialist and Community Services.


About you

You will have a strong clinical background with a current practising certificate and have an good understanding of allied health and be aligned to the values of the organisation.

Ideally you will have knowledge of leading service improvement work and have technical knowledge and experience. You will need to bring your tools and experience from previous roles.

You will also need the following key attributes and skills:

  • Relevant qualification in a Allied Health Therapies profession
  • New Zealand Registered clinician, with current annual practising certificate (APC).
  • Expectation of at least 5 years clinical practice
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
