Who we are:

Victory Social is an all-encompassing culinary destination located in the Victory Park neighborhood of Downtown Dallas. Guests can have a variety of dining experiences, ranging from fast-casual at the Eatery to an uplifted curated Chef Driven menu concept. From an amazing Barista coffee experience to cocktails; from outdoor to private dining, all courtesy of six unique concepts from the Hospitality Alliance team. The elevated eatery experience combines best-in-class ingredients and skillful teams to create a place unlike any in Dallas.

The restaurants and concepts at Victory Social are:

Rise & Thyme – Rise & Thyme is a Hospitality Alliance original - an all-day café, featuring “best-in-glass” coffee from Lemma Coffee Roasters, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and tacos, an array of toasts and bagels, savory French toast and much more.

Park Bistro – Park Bistro is a lunchtime destination focusing on fresh salads, delicious sandwiches that are hand-crafted to order, and delicious soups prepared daily. It is a nod to the classic all-American bistro, combining seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced proteins, and fresh baked breads.

Itzá Cocina – Itza Cocina is a playful and elevated spin on the contemporary taqueria. Fresh proteins and vegetables are marinated and grilled each day, along with homemade tortillas coming fresh off the plancha. Itzá Cocina serves tacos, burritos, and bowls in a number of varieties, and freshly made salsas, queso, and guacamole are always available.

Shoals – Shoals is the idea child of a barbeque lovers passion for fried chicken. Sandwiches, tenders, and wings highlight this menu. Think backyard BBQ, but it's all about the chicken and fixin's!

Victory Grill – Featuring house butchered meats and seafood, and a wide variety of soups, salads, and starters, this could be Victory Social’s restaurant for everyone. From juicy Steak Frites, to a succulent Lamb Burger, to smoky Grilled Salmon, to chicken and ribs, Victory Grill has it all.

D’oro Italiano – Meaning Golden in Italian, D’oro gets its name from our beautifully gold-tiled pizza oven. D’oro is a home for Neapolitan style pizzas baked to order, as well as fresh housemade pasta. In true classic Italian tradition, all sauces, breads, sausages, meatballs, doughs, and pastas, are made in house daily.

Overview
As an AM expert Cashier @ Victory Social your role will be pivotal in delivering an exceptional Lunch experience to our guests. Leveraging your core skills in POS systems, food service, and food handling, and upholding food safety standards.

Cashier responsibilities include educating customers on our food menus, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes wages and tips. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests. Drinks creativity is PLUS

Your premium skills in culinary experience in a fast casual enviroment will elevate our offerings and ensure a memorable experience for patrons. Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate genuine hospitality, provide timely, accurate, detail oriented and friendly service.
• Anticipate guest's needs and respond with a sense of urgency
• Greet customers as they enter
• Answer customers' questions regarding ingredients
• Take orders while paying attention to any drink/plate modifications
• Serve beverages and food items
• Run food from kitchen
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep the counter area clean
• Maintain stock of various coffee accoutrements
• Communicate customer feedback to managers
• Note inventory needs when running low
• Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized and safe restaurant
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere
• Professional communications with Guests, team, management.
• TEAM & TEAM etiquette.
• Greet guests in a timely manner & make sure to ring up on TOAST POS the correct order and charges.
• Input into POS accurately, and send to cooks; double check orders are accurate before giving it to customers
• Must be able to learn and memorize different ingredients in the entire menu, including allergies
• Charge correct amount to each placed order
• Maintain accurate tender in cashier drawer
• Side work not limited to: making to-go utensil set ups, filling to-go dressings, and plateware
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Restock cups, cutlery, and other supplies from stock room.

Requirements

• Casual/Counter/Experience cashier fast paced dining experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Eagerness to continue to polish Barista skills

Upselling and sales experience a plus

• Experience in high volume in a vibrant environment.
• Professional and clean presentation is a must
• Attention to detail

This is the perfect AM gig for those who have a second job, PM obligations, child-care obligations. Be out every day by 3pm!

Compensation: $ 10-$12 ( Based on level of skills/years experience) an hour plus gratuities.
