Educational Qualification

• B.Sc Anaesthesia Technology
• Diploma in Anaesthesia Technology
• B.Sc / Diploma in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology
• Relevant qualification in Anaesthesia Technology preferred
• Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome

Experience

• Freshers: Can apply
• Experienced candidates: Preferred
• Candidates with relevant Operation Theatre / Anaesthesia experience will be given preference. (Indeed)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operation Theatre and anaesthesia workstation before procedures
• Check anaesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, suction and oxygen supply
• Prepare airway devices, breathing circuits and other required equipment
• Assist the anaesthesiologist during induction, maintenance and recovery
• Assist with airway management and intubation by preparing required equipment
• Monitor and report changes in vital signs as directed by the anaesthesia team
• Ensure emergency airway and resuscitation equipment is readily available
• Maintain adequate stock of anaesthesia supplies and consumables
• Clean, disinfect and maintain anaesthesia equipment according to hospital protocols
• Report faulty equipment and arrange servicing or replacement
• Assist with safe patient transfer and positioning
• Maintain proper records and documentation
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols (Indeed)

Candidate Requirements

• Good knowledge of anaesthesia equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work calmly in emergency situations
• Responsible and attentive approach
• Willingness to work rotational shifts / night shifts
• Good coordination with anaesthesiologists, surgeons and nursing staff
