  • Proactively engaging colleagues to champion and enable the use of polling, segmentation and other audience analysis approaches (eg message testing) across the team.
  • Collaborating with audience insight practitioners and experts in the broader community on larger audience insight projects.
  • Conducting rapid literature reviews on varied topics affecting the climate movement.
  • Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Our ideal candidate has

  • Significant experience of a wide range of audience insight approaches - polling, focus groups, message testing, audience segmentation - and an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each. Familiarity with social media and other platforms, and/or designing online message testing and audience analysis work.
  • Experience presenting findings to internal and external audiences and contributing insights from research effectively. Data visualisation and presentation skills will be valued.
  • An entrepreneurial and collaborative approach.
  • The strong multidisciplinary skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work nimbly across phone/video conferencing, time zones, slack, email, Trello, etc.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, our working language; additional languages are an asset.
  • A genuine interest in and passion for addressing climate change.
  • The disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community of peers.
  • The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across time zones using tools such as Zoom, Slack and email (Google Workspace).
  • Knowledge of climate change and energy will be useful, but is not essential.
  • Familiarity with languages other than English (especially Spanish, Portuguese and any of the languages of major Asian countries) will be an advantage, but is not essential.
