Summary

As a Veterinary Hospital Receptionist at the Lois Pope Pet Clinic, you will play a vital role in managing our veterinary services and ensuring the highest standards of care for our animals. This position is essential to our mission of providing a safe and nurturing environment for all pets until they find their forever homes and for community members pets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality animal care.
• Manage veterinary staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
• Coordinate with veterinarians to develop treatment plans for animals in our care.
• Implement protocols for aseptic techniques and animal restraint during procedures.
• Facilitate communication between staff, volunteers, and pet adopters regarding animal health issues.
• Assist in budgeting and financial management of the veterinary department.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact with staff, volunteers, and the public.
• Experience in pet care or veterinary critical care is highly desirable.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
