About the role
We are looking for an experienced application specialist to Tietoevry Care's Health Suite unit. In this role you get to use your versatile technical and analytical skills and apply them in accordance with the needs of the organization. The application specialist's tasks include version update projects of the information system, application testing and maintenance tasks, resolve service requests and problems, documentation and technical consulting about our healthcare products and digital healthcare in customer environments.
Teamwork is key, as you work as a teammate of experienced application specialists. You also work closely with our technical specialists, project managers, partners, possible third parties and end users. You help our healthcare product customers to solve problems and with your own expertise you offer our customers added value and a smooth customer experience.
Team is waiting for you. In this role, you can participate in the creation of new IT solutions, services and products for the Nordic health sector. Professional colleagues and supervisors support and familiarize you with your work duties.

We expect that you have experience in the ICT sector and have previously been involved in the planning, implementation or delivery of medium-sized and large IT infrastructures.

The position requires knowledge of Microsoft technologies and a good understanding and experience of Windows server and workstation environments, including IIS.

Basic SQL queries and usage are familiar to you.

Git, Azure and Powershell skills and previous experience in the healthcare IT sector are a plus.

You have good communication skills, independent problem-solving ability, pressure tolerance and readiness to quickly adopt new things.

Communication with colleagues and customers and potential third-party representatives is easy for you thanks to your previous working experience.

The work requires independence, but you can also work smoothly as part of a team.

Finnish language is mandatory (written and spoken), but you can also communicate well in English.

It is considered an advantage if you have worked with customers and in customer interfaces.
