Description:
About the Role
We’re seeking a driven and experienced Application Support Lead to join our IT team and take ownership of LSC’s Sales and Operations systems, specifically Epicor ERP and the Commerce Vision eCommerce platform. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our core business applications run seamlessly, efficiently, and securely, delivering real value to our staff, customers, and suppliers every day.
You’ll lead a small, high-performing team dedicated to maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our business systems. Your focus will be on optimising system performance, improving user experience, and ensuring data integrity across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Applications Support team and external suppliers to consistently meet SLAs and business expectations.
- Deliver business systems projects and enhancements from analysis through testing and deployment.
- Respond to and resolve business systems incidents in line with agreed service levels.
- Gain a high-level working knowledge of all LSC business systems and maintain accurate, up-to-date system documentation.
- Produce comprehensive business documentation, including requirements specifications, designs, and test plans.
- Manage company data assets to maintain data integrity and maximise value.
- Review user support experiences and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure business systems comply with security, privacy, disaster recovery, and risk requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in application support or IT business systems management
- You will possess technical expertise in ERP systems (ideally Epicor), B2B eCommerce platforms (Commerce Vision, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce) and systems integration using middleware (ideally Jitterbit).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects successfully and on time.
- Experience producing high-quality documentation and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
