As an Apprentice Body Repair Painter (Spray Painter) you will be part of a team that is delivering an impeccable service experience to Tesla Body Repair customers. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll have an opportunity to learn from our team of experienced Tesla Body Repair Painter and work with vehicles that are revolutionising the automotive industry.
Throughout this 4-year apprenticeship you will go through an intensive EV and body repair training program designed to provide you with the skills and nationally recognised qualification necessary for a successful career with Tesla’s Body Shops.
This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and experience to prepare, restore, and finish painted vehicle surfaces. These skills can then be applied to a range of jobs, from repairing damaged paintwork to simply adding some cosmetic enhancement. The training programme you will undertake includes a mix of practical training and assessment, undertaken in our state-of-the-art Body Shops, and eLearning allowing you to complete theory elements of the programme at your own pace. You will have access to videos, interactive simulations and theory assessments, which can be easily accessed at any time and from any device – mobile phone, tablet or PC.

What You'll Do
- Work as a team to deliver results and achieve daily goals
- Complete Tesla Specific training
- Develop knowledge of all Tesla products, Body Repair Systems, Process and Procedures
- Ensure workshop is well maintained
- Maintain records of time, expenses and materials
- Perform basic body repair paint work under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and Body Repair Centre
What You'll Bring
- Educational experience: Year 12 completion

Eligibility to attend training through MITO

Valid driver's license

Fluent English

Technical acumen – interest in electronics and technology

Excellent Communication skills, Attention to Detail, and Time Management skills

Ability to learn on the job, work quickly, efficiently and follow instructions
