Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter's Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in carpentry and construction. As a Carpenter's Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, gaining hands-on experience while learning the fundamentals of the trade. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Duties
- Assist in the construction and installation of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Help fabricate components for various projects.
- Participate in concrete forming processes as required.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to support project completion.
- Support experienced carpenters in all aspects of home building process and other related tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the job site.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, including framing, finishing, and site prep.
- Ability, willingness and enjoyment in working in all weather conditions.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding schematics is preferred.
- Experience with power tools and hand tools used in carpentry is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to carpentry.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
