Description:
Your new role:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Fitter (Mechanical Engineering). This is a fantastic opportunity to learn hands-on from industry experts while working on cutting-edge projects. Your apprenticeship can lead to a career in CNC Machining, Assembly Operation or Quality Inspection.
Role responsibilities:
- Assist with the fitting, assembly, and machining of precision components.
- Participate in a structured apprenticeship program combining practical work and formal training.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings, use precision tools, and maintain high-quality standards.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Good mechanical reasoning, a passion for machining and fitting and a desire to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to teamwork and safety.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles (preferred but not essential).
- Completion of Year 10 or equivalent education.
- Fully Funded Apprenticeship Training: We’ll support your education to achieve a nationally recognised trade qualification (Certificate III Engineering Mechanical).
- Toolbox Contribution: We’ll help you set up with a financial contribution toward your tools.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.

- 38 hours: Monday to Thursday 6.00 am to 3.30 pm. Friday 6.00 am to 12.00 pm

Due to the nature of our work and the requirements of our customers, all applicants may be required to hold Australian citizenship and need to meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and/or EAR (Export Administration Regulations) compliance as part of employment eligibility.
Successful applicants may also be required to undergo a current police check, obtain a Commonwealth defence security clearance, and participate in random drug and alcohol screening as part of our commitment to safety and security.
