Responsibilities

Assist senior plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems on construction sites, ensuring all work aligns with building codes and safety protocols.
Support the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively to install pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
Participate in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, including leak detection, pipe replacement, and system upgrades.
Help ensure compliance with safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during all tasks and handling power tools responsibly.
Contribute to remodeling projects by installing new plumbing or upgrading existing systems as directed.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while following proper safety procedures.

Requirements

Must have some construction experience or a strong interest in construction plumbing and mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, and plumbing system components is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately; prior experience is a plus.

Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions when assisting clients or contractors on-site.
Willingness to learn about pipe installation techniques, maintenance procedures, and remodeling processes.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical specifications.
