  • Salary: £14,162 per annum plus benefits.
  • 39 hours per week (Mon – Fri).
  • Field-based across Magna sites.
  • Apprenticeship duration: 24-Months

About the Role:

Magna Housing is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative. This comprehensive 24-month program allows you to earn a Level 2 qualification while developing a wide range of maintenance skills. It offers a strong career foundation, blending practical work experience with the acquisition of various business competencies.

If you are eager to learn new skills, obtain a trade qualification in the building industry, and become part of our vibrant trades team, we would be thrilled to hear from you.

Training and Development:

  • College Attendance: You will be required to attend and commit to a course which spans 24-Months.
  • You will learn a range of building skills including carpentry, joinery, plumbing, plastering, brickwork and finishing skills, such painting/decorating and tiling.

What you need to be successful:

  • Self-motivation, displaying a drive to achieve personal and professional goals.
  • A commitment to excellence by continuous improvement, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Possess a keen enthusiasm for performing manual tasks, alongside a dedication to enhancing skill development.
  • An understanding of basic IT, including familiarity with agile technologies such as iPads.
  • Customer focused with a desire to exceed customer expectations and deliver high levels of customer service at all times, whilst adhering to regulations and Magna Values.
