We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful applicant must be focused, driven, and able to work in a team environment or independently. Be self-motivated and have a genuine desire to get the job done in a professional, safe/efficient and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and troubleshoot: review work orders, examine the vehicle using testing equipment, test driving vehicles
• Dismantling faulty assemblies and replacing or repairing worn or damaged parts
• Reassembling, adjusting and testing the repaired mechanism
• Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
• Filling out/Submitting all required documentation in accurate and timely manner
• Follow all OH&S guidelines and help foster a safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Member of apprenticeship or completion of college program or technical training
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, cleaning and storage procedures
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
