YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
- Support and participate in outreach activities to promote apprenticeship opportunities within schools, communities, and industry events;
- Represent the apprenticeship program at career fairs, information sessions, and recruitment events;
- Assist in maintaining relationships with educational institutions and apprenticeship partners;
- Contribute to initiatives that increase awareness and participation in apprenticeship pathways;
- Coordinate the apprenticeship registration process, including supporting employer and apprentice registrations;
- Prepare and submit applications through the appropriate portals (e.g., STO, MLITSD);
- Guide candidates through application steps, ensuring proper access, documentation, and completion;
- Review required documentation (e.g., Training Agreements, RTAs) for completeness and accuracy before submission;
- Act as a key point of contact for apprentices, providing guidance and support throughout the registration and onboarding process;
- Liaise with departments and supervisors to coordinate training schedules and requirements;
- Provide basic coaching and support to participants to help them navigate apprenticeship requirements;
- Escalate complex issues or exceptions to senior staff when required;
- Maintain accurate records of apprenticeship registrations, progress, and outcomes;
- Generate and analyze routine reports to support program tracking and decision-making;
- Assist in ensuring documentation and program activities meet required timelines and compliance standards;
- Support coordination of funding-related documentation (e.g., SDF or incentive programs) where applicable;
- Identify opportunities to enhance program efficiency and participant experience;
- Recommend improvements to processes, tools, and communications;
- Support the implementation of new initiatives within the apprenticeship program.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Post-secondary education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience;
- Previous administrative, coordination, or customer service experience preferred; experience in apprenticeship or recruitment is considered an asset;
- 2–4 years of experience in coordination, recruitment, training, or apprenticeship programs;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Competent understanding of apprenticeship programs and processes (e.g., Apprenticeship Training Applications (ATA) and Registered Training Agreements (RTA)) is an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with candidates, schools, and internal stakeholders;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI; experience with databases or tracking systems is required;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Schedule: 4/3, 5/2 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
Minimum Salary : $70,000CAD Maximum Salary : $93,000CADJob
