We are seeking a highly experienced Java Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, MySQL databases, and cloud-native architectures. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of large-scale, high-performance Java-based applications.
• Define architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices for development and integration.
• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, queries, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive end-to-end solution architecture across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to security and performance best practices.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams in Java technologies, database optimization, and architectural design.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide effective solutions.

Skill Set Required :

• Expert-level knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
• Strong expertise in MySQL (schema design, query optimization, replication, clustering, performance tuning).
• Experience with scalability, distributed systems, and high-availability design.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to work on complex technical challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring in high-performing teams.

Desirable:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) alongside MySQL.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of security best practices in application and database design.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience Required:

15+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and architecture
