Architectural Draftsperson

• Work with architects and other engineering/design professionals to create detailed architectural drawings and plans, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Utilize computer-assisted drafting and design software or various drafting techniques as necessary to create accurate and precise drawings.
• Ensure that drawings comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct worksites visit and verify dimensions, scale, space relationships, and material quantities
• Collaborate with project managers and construction professionals to incorporate changes and modifications and ensure that designs are achievable and feasible within project timelines and budgets.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and technologies in architectural designs

Required Qualification:

• Proven experience as an Architectural draftsperson or similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous architectural drafting work.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
• Excellent understanding of architectural design principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.66 – $31.36 per hour

Schedule:

• Overtime
• Public holidays
• Weekend availability
