Your impact

Jacobs’ Advanced Manufacturing team in Ireland is seeking an Architectural Technician with strong BIM/CAD capability to support the delivery of high‑quality design packages for complex life sciences and advanced manufacturing facilities. This role is ideal for a detail‑driven technician who can produce coordinated LOD300 models, planning documentation, and compliant architectural outputs within a multidisciplinary project environment.

Key Responsibilities

LOD300 BIM delivery: Develop and maintain architectural BIM models to LOD300, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and alignment with project standards.

Planning pack production: Prepare planning drawings, site layouts, elevations, sections, and supporting documentation for statutory submissions.

Technical CAD drafting: Produce detailed CAD drawings for design development, tender, and construction stages.

Multidisciplinary coordination: Collaborate closely with structural, mechanical, electrical, and process teams to ensure integrated design solutions.

Building code compliance: Apply knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and relevant international standards to ensure compliant architectural outputs.

Design documentation: Support the creation of specifications, schedules, and technical reports.

Quality assurance: Follow Jacobs’ quality processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability across all deliverables.

Here's what you'll need

Proficiency in Revit BIM and AutoCAD within a design or engineering consultancy environment.

Demonstrated ability to produce coordinated LOD300 architectural models.

Experience preparing planning packs and statutory submission drawings.

Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and associated technical guidance documents.

Ability to interpret engineering inputs and translate them into clear architectural outputs.

Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.

Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.

Ideally, you will also have:
Exposure to advanced manufacturing, life sciences, or pharmaceutical projects.

Familiarity with BIM execution plans, model coordination workflows, and clash detection.

Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, or similar collaboration tools.
