What you’ll love:

Reporting to the Victorian State Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager is a critical role responsible for the sales of waste management solutions across the South East region of Melbourne, managing the retention of current customers and driving profitable sales growth.

Working autonomously, this is an on-the-road role, where you will focus on developing new business, ensuring you commit to a consistent growth of your portfolio and new customer acquisitions.

You’ll be working with a diverse range of customers and industries, and everything in between, so the potential to grow your portfolio is endless. Every single commercial and industrial business produces waste, and you’ll have the autonomy and scope to drive growth with no handbrake on!


Who you are:

  • You’ll bring experience of high volume B2B sales (ideally within the waste industry) and can share your track record of results in winning new business.
  • Have the ability to deeply understand how to best help our customers, you listen more than you speak.
  • You communicate well, and your written and verbal style when interacting with customers is as friendly, as it is consultative.
  • You’re able to maintain prospect and lead information in our CRM system, ensuring you use our systems and resources to support your success.
  • You’ll be a skilled presenter, able to engage customers with the necessary skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in the Liquid Waste space is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment.
