An Area Sales Officer (ASO) drives revenue in a specific territory by developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, analyzing market trends, and leading a local sales team to meet targets through training, motivation, and performance monitoring, all while ensuring customer satisfaction and reporting insights to management. Key duties include prospecting, negotiating, forecasting, coordinating with marketing, and reporting on sales performance, requiring strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement area-specific sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Client & Territory Management: Identify, contact, and build strong relationships with new and existing clients; manage key accounts; conduct market research in the assigned area.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, guide, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their targets.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Promotional Activities: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
