Job Overview:
As an Area Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and market expansion of our premium product lines. You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our business. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments and customers, supporting strategic business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product penetration in key markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
- Present and promote ITN’s products to retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Track sales performance, generate reports, and ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to enhance product visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Provide input on product improvements and customer feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally within the foods or distribution sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the North American retail and food distribution markets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- CPG/Consumer Sales: 1-3 years (preferred)
Pay: $45,000 - $55,000
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: On the road. (Surrey, BC)
