**Position Summary:

We're actively seeking individuals for the role of Armed Waterborne Security Officer in San Diego. In this critical position, you will play a key role in providing security for US Naval Vessels undergoing repair within authorized shipyards. We have opportunities for entry-level positions for Main Gate Guard, Vehicle Inspection, Pier Gate Guard, Rover Guard,vessel crew members and journeyman positions for those with certifiable boating skills. If you have Military Coxswain, Riverine, Level II Coxswain, or US Coast Guard Coxswain certifications, we encourage you to apply. Six Maritime is a Veteran-owned, Veteran-friendly company.

**Key Responsibilities:

- Provide waterside security for US Naval Vessels in shipyards.

- Utilize your armed status to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.

- Prohibit unauthorized access to sensitive areas.

- Investigate and respond to security incidents.

- Collaborate with the team to maintain a secure environment.

**Qualifications:

- California Guard Card (BSIS).

- California Exposed Firearm Permit (BSIS).

- US Department of Homeland Security Terminal Workers Identification Card (TWIC).

- Background Investigation and Drug Testing: Mandatory.
