Join our leading waste management company as an experienced Artic Truck Driver.
You’ll play a vital role in transporting waste and recycling materials between transfer stations, treatment facilities, and landfill sites, ensuring safe and compliant operations across the region.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate articulated vehicles to transport bulk waste and recyclables
- Ensure compliance with waste handling and transport regulations
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Maintain accurate transport logs and paperwork
- Liaise with site teams and dispatch for efficient routing
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
- Valid CE (Class 1) driving licence with CPC and Digi Card
- Minimum 2 years’ experience driving articulated vehicles
- Experience in the waste or haulage industry preferred
- Good understanding of transport regulations and safe loading practices
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Flexibility for early starts, occasional weekends, or shift work
