Asphalt Paver Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects, particularly in concrete installation and forming. The Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles, including dump trucks and loaders, to transport materials to job sites.
• Execute heavy equipment operations with precision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform tasks related to concrete pumping and installation, including setting up and breaking down equipment as needed.
• Assist in concrete forming processes, ensuring structures are built according to specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with dump trucks and loaders.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with concrete pumping, installation, and forming techniques is preferred.
• Ability to dig and prepare sites for construction activities efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for operating heavy machinery are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
