We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roller Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly rollers, to ensure the smooth and efficient completion of paving projects. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of quality in our asphalt work, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment to compact asphalt during construction projects.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure proper paving techniques are followed.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment, including lubrication and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment problems when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with rollers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for performing routine maintenance on equipment.
