Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or factory environment and possess mechanical knowledge to effectively fabricate and assemble products. This role is crucial in ensuring that our assembly line operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks.
• Operate forklifts as needed to transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process and report them to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and assemble components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
