Precision Laser is seeking a dependable and hardworking Automotive Shipping Racks Assembler / General Labourer to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling metal shipping racks, handling materials, operating hand and power tools, and assisting the fabrication team to ensure quality production standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive shipping racks and metal components according to drawings and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and measuring equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist welders and production staff with fitting, positioning, and securing parts
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Measure materials using tape measures, rulers, and calipers
• Perform basic grinding, cleaning, and finishing of metal products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
• Support other production and general labour duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or general labour experience considered an asset
• Ability to read basic drawings and follow work instructions
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of lifting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Day shift
• Overtime available as required

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• reading measuring tape: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
