About the Role
As an Assembler at WRT, you’ll assemble, fit, and inspect mechanical components used in the production of WRT equipment. You will work from drawings, prepare required hardware, and ensure all assemblies meet WRT’s specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
·Read and interpret blueprints to prepare all required hardware and components
·Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to procedures
·Inspect assemblies to ensure they meet drawings, tolerances, and specifications
·Perform test runs and functional checks when required
·Follow all procedures within WRT’s Quality Management System and participate in inspections
·Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
·Communicate with the Shop Foreman and Plant Manager regarding progress and issues
·Support other production areas as needed
Qualifications
·Experience in mechanical or industrial equipment assembly, or a related manufacturing environment
·Strong mechanical aptitude and skill with mechanical assembly
·Ability to read and interpret blueprints
·Able to work independently or in a team environment
·Must hold and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license
Wages are competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
