Underground Drilling Division within Sandvik Mining is an industry leading global provider of drilling equipment for underground mining industry with focus on technology development and future innovative solutions to enable sustainable operations for our customers. Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy’s Tampere Site is a global technology and manufacturing center for Underground Drilling equipment.

We are now looking for an active and experienced Assembly Manager to join our Underground Drilling Division Production team. This is a permanent position based in Tampere, Myllypuro site.

Your role

As an Assembly Manager you lead a team of skilled production supervisors and develop the team further by motivating and enabling individuals to achieve their best and to meet the business needs. You are one of the key players in our safety culture and together with your team you drive the culture further. You are responsible for leading and developing our testing, painting, finishing and packing operations. Leading and developing our production processes – as well as collaboration with other functions and stakeholders is important part of your role.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with good leadership, communication and networking skills and great colleague to our team! You understand wider business needs and have strong experience in assembly management from complex business environment. You can build strong professional relationships with relevant stakeholders and communicate with them at all levels. You have a relevant education, and you are fluent in Finnish and English.
