For the purchasing team of Tom&Co we are looking for dynamic colleagues who enjoy administrative tasks as well as have commercial flair and want to think along with us about our range of products. Every day, you will support Tom&Co's buyers both administratively and commercially and you will be the contact person for internal departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities
You are responsible for managing our product information from A to Z (master data) for a certain category of products: from requesting information from our suppliers, processing price and promotional information to correctly informing our shops (including our web shop). An eye for correct information down to the last detail is a must!
- You closely monitor the commercial agreements with our suppliers: you check whether our suppliers' data (payment terms, prices, etc.) are in line with the negotiated contract and process them in our systems.
- You make information available to our shops and other departments (logistics, concept and merchandising, e-comm, finance)
- You prepare notes for the shops regarding the products (new products, changes to products, promotions on products) and prepare all information for the colleagues
You efficiently and customer-orientedly handle all questions from customers and colleagues
- You provide commercial support to your fellow buyers in terms of market research and product development:
- You follow up on the market
- You help monitor the sale of products and think about new products
- You are involved in the selection of products within a certain category
- You prepare all promotions in collaboration with your marketing colleagues
- You accompany the buyers during supplier visits
What we are looking for
- You are an administrative jack-of-all-trades who likes to work fluently in various software packages (Microsoft Office, formulas and pivot tables in Excel, ERP systems)
- You are customer-oriented and commercially minded
- You have sufficient command of the three languages Dutch, French and English to be able to function both orally and in writing in those languages
- You have an eye for detail
- You work independently, organize your work and set priorities in consultation with your manager
- You are eager to learn, take initiative and look for solutions to problems
- You are not averse to multitasking and can function in a very dynamic environment
- You are helpful and enjoy working in a team
- As first contact person for questions, you are a good communicator and a real team player
- You have at least 3 years of experience in an administrative commercial function
