Assistant Coach – Kids Fitness & Aerobic GymnasticsJob Description

Immediate Fitness (IMF) is looking for a motivated, reliable, and coachable Assistant Coach to join our coaching team.

This position involves working with young children (ages 4–6) in our Kids Fitness and Fundamental Gymnastics programs, while assisting with Aerobic Gymnastics classes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to develop into a professional coach through structured training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Aerobic Gymnastics classes
• Lead or assist Kids Fitness and Fundamental Gymnastics classes (ages 4–6)
• Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
• Follow IMF's structured coaching curriculum and teaching system
• Prepare lesson plans and continue developing coaching skills through training and feedback

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, parkour, fitness, or other sports is an asset
• Passion for working with children
• Strong willingness to learn and accept coaching
• Reliable, responsible, punctual, and professional
• Able to work independently while following coaching guidelines

Certifications

• NCCP Gymnastics Foundations certification is an asset
• Candidates without certification must be willing to obtain NCCP Level 1 (Foundations) within three months of employment

Compensation

• 3-month probation period: $20/hour
• After successful completion of probation: $25/hour
