What we are looking for:

  • Responsible for communicating in a positive manner with residents, their families and visitors, in the resolution of problems or concerns.
  • Responsible for communicating clear expectations for the highest quality of care to the nursing staff.
  • Responsible for communicating information with the administration, department heads, and medical staff to facilitate a smooth flow of total resident care.
  • Policies and Procedures:
  • Management skills, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling that are needed to oversee the functioning of the facility
  • Communication skills and follow-up capabilities are a necessity

Salary will be based upon experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and professional development
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and administrators, to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and other healthcare standards
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of nursing services
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment- Must be RN
- Proven experience in nursing administration, preferably in hospice care, home health, or assisted living settings
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families
- Ability to effectively manage a team of nurses and support staff
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation review

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
