Support Nursing Excellence and Resident Care
We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing
In this role, you will:
- Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
- Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs
- Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
- Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records
- Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans
- Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
- Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Has strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience
- Brings a background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Embraces a restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills
- Has working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
