Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Schedule & Benefits

  • Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, Monday-Friday, including on-call rotation

Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree

  • Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care or post-acute setting is preferred

  • Prior experience managing staff required

Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations (CMS,NJDOH)

  • Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care

  • Understanding of MDS process, care planning and survey readiness

  • Infection prevention and control knowledge

  • Ability to lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives

  • Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures.

  • Experience in staff education, orientation, and competency evaluations

  • Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
