An exciting opportunity for an innovative and outstanding teacher with early childhood management experience to join The Scots College Early Years Centre - Scots Rose Bay.
About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director & Educational Leader to join a small team of educators supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of boys between 3 and 5 years of age.
You will be well supported by a long serving and supportive Director. This is a fast paced role within a 26 place centre and your time will be divided between significant office time as well providing cover for planning time on the floor throughout the week. The Scots Rose Bay Early Years Center salaries are significantly above the award along with generous 7 weeks annual leave.
In this role you will be expected to support the aims and values of the College by taking a leadership role in committing to the development of 'best practice' strategies in all aspects of The Scots College Early Years Centre.
Who are you?
- You have a qualification in education and be registered with The NSW Institute of Teachers if applicable.
- You have experience and understanding of and able to implement a Reggio Emelia - inspired Early Years education program
- You will have the ability to infuse Christian values into teaching.
- You have the propensity to recognise the value and uniqueness of each individual within the College community.
- You will have a strong commitment to your own ongoing learning and development.
- You will have professional and personal integrity.
- You have or can obtain a valid working with children check.
