This is a 2-year contract position as an Assistant Director in the CET Academy.
[What you will be working on]
As Assistant Director (Partnerships) in Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s (NP) Continuing Education and Training Academy (CETA), you will lead a team of Product & Account Specialists focused on product, client and account management to expand and enhance relationships with B2B clientele. You will support the Director and Deputy Director in developing and executing strategies around product mix, product development and innovation, as well as client acquisition and management.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Formulate and execute strategic plans to build and enhance NP’s B2B clientele to support the national SkillsFuture movement and lifelong learning on:
- A strong understanding of CET landscape, product types, their target audience and benefits;
- The appropriate mix of products across NP and provide advisory for individual schools or departments, taking into account existing and emerging industry needs;
- Product development and pitching to strategic accounts based on a strong understanding of CET funding and initiatives;
- Seeking relevant government funding and grants (e.g. through SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)) to support key initiatives for adult learning, including working with partners that have expertise we might not have and want to build; and
- Client and account management to strengthen and leverage on partnerships with corporates, trade associations and communities
Guide and develop a team of 3 – 5 staff that work across schools and departments to deliver NP’s CET strategy via impactful and quality CET programmes that meet individual aspirations and industry needs.
Work closely with the operational team in CETA to ensure implementation fidelity and customer centricity when B2B clients send their staff for training.
[What we are looking for]
At least four years of relevant working experience, with a bonus for those who have had a supervisory position managing and leading a team of officers
Prior experience in educational programme management, Skillsfuture and adult learning, and/or business/commercial partnerships management would be a plus
Proven track record in engaging various stakeholders, building win-win relationships and fostering collaborations
Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across schools and departments and different levels of staff
Strong analytical ability to think clearly and make sound judgments, display strong initiative, and resourcefulness
Fluency with data and analytics and prior experience in business development will be an advantage.
